The hopeful side of me says that there is good news due very soon and releasing it after the SPP offer closes would frustrate holders more than they already are. An oversubscribed issue is much better press than one that falls to underwriters.
The pessimist in me says that there is a condition met of the underwriting that allows the underwriter out (a 5% drop in the ASX during the offer period for example).
More than likely is that Norwood are just badly organised and need an extra week to sort themselves out. The pump is coming!
