IGO have a new CEO, they’ve had their challenges with recent major acquisitions and the markets they operate in are more challenging than they have been for a while.
So I’m sure they are doing a thorough assessment of their portfolio and a refresh on strategy before making major decisions. Imagine a lot focus will be on the operations of the existing assets, especially their nickel portfolio.
The CEO is from Rio so imagine he’s not going to be scared of large diversified international portfolios and have to think copper would make sense in that. Suspect the focus will be on big low cost plays in core materials, lithium, nickel and copper.
Copper wolf sounds like it could potentially fit with that, especially if we can confirm the theory on wolverine. Maybe just a matter of time.
Do hope BUX progress to doing some initial drilling at Wolverine anyway, as if they can get the confirmation is a major game changer I think.
