to be economical you would need about 10% TGC

than you need it to be shallow with little overburden and a thickness of 50meters or so .

than you need flakes the size of 100 micron and bigger , with high level of christelinity for ones the flakes is expanded , meaning the thick flake maybe 100atoms thick is brought down to about 3 to 5 atom thick flakes with lots of bounding crystals on all sides , ready for next use .
this is done often with some acids , including citrus i read some where .
