I believe it is a mere extension of the previous buy back, which could purchase shares up to 14 or 15 cents... which is not high compared to the 'true value' of BRL (which I believe is 20+ cents), but yes, significantly higher than where the share price has been lately! 44.5m shares is alot more shares still to buy... start snapping them up BRL! Only so much one can sell before they can't sell anymore!
