I also see today's announcement as a great positive!, a delay allowing clarification and allowing AVZ to get all their ducks(SP catalysts) lined up!
As has been shown by AVZ in their agreements and share certificates AVZ have done everything by the book and
have full legal title to 75% of the Manono lithium and tin project.
The IGF, the DRC government's watchdog, has found corruption and illegality in the deals done by Cominiere and Zijin!
Just a little more time now in suspension will allow clarification in a concrete statement so that AVZ can recommence trading with positive news, and the many strong short term re-rating catalysts that can be released to the market. including the mining licence, CATH(CATL) JV/funding, BFS, MSEZ, FID, further offtakes, JV with CATL? etc.
If I was a shorter I would be very worried, paying interest, and also not understanding what AVZ has under the bonnet once we are out of suspension. They will have to cover heavily and I can see the share price shooting way past one dollar on opening.
The day of reckoning for shorters is coming!
