I agree with your sentiments here. Unlike the previous poster who implied we are now in negotiation, not arbitration. What would we be negotiating with Zijin if we are? We have clear title, Zijin doesn’t. The process needs clarity. The reason Zijin’s lawyers asked us to arbitration is to find out what AVZ has and what the process was how we come to get legal title and be recognised by the DRC. The only Chinese we need to negotiate at this point is with CATH. If Zijin want to build the roads and infrastructure for a slice of the pie then that could be happen when we get the remaining 15% but nowhere near this level. If I were Zijin I would be looking to see how I was going to get my money back when some corrupt Directors of La Comintern have already spent millions of their money.
