Both the searches of mine and others invested with AVZ that have had discussions cannot find any record with the ICC of arbitration even being initiated by Zijin, Jin Cheng or even by AVZ.

Case and point regarding no arbitration claim formally lodged at this time or being withdrawn prior to arbitration commencing can be proven here

I would suggest that perhaps Initial steps of arbitration were initiated, and Zijin upon realising that they would have to pass brown envelopes to multiple parties, some of which may not be "persuadable" may have put them off. They may now be trying to pass slightly smaller envelopes to people within the DRC.

I would also point to the fact that no governmental minutes of weekly meetings, which were until the 27th of May accrued and published on a weekly basis, have been published.

Case and point can be proven I would suggest that it is not only AVZ that is fighting this, but perhaps the highest levels of the DRC government battling for improved reputation of the country against a former dictator, his supporters, and his corrupt foreign business partners who have been both now proven to be involved in high level corruption within the DRC.

The silence unnerves me, but I understand the situation and trust in AVZ to do the right thing, and believe that Felix and the minister of mines are both focused on improving the reputation of the DRC understanding they have a once in a generation opportunity to get this right with Manono - because the road to Manono leads to so, so much more for the people of DRC than just a green transition.

If you believe in AVZ, do not go grey. Have the serenity to accept the things you cannot change, the courage to change the things you can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Well the asx announcement from management suggests the preparations for arbitration have commenced - given they said they had provided response and were arguing over the panelling of adjudicators.

I think if ML is sorted in the interim, that the arbitration will just keep bubbling along in the background until resolution- though if that's the case there would be some implications for project payment sharing.

thanks for the offer but i shant be selling at this stage - nor on open, unless certain things become clearer
