You are right, many of us would have thought the same that within one month we would get the ML anyways, but the reality is we are in DRC where laws can be bent to suit your purpose. The new government is trying to fix some of the issues but it takes time.
AVZ management need to be professional, patient and careful in dealing with the current situation as you don’t want to be in bad books of the current DRC government. At the end of the day you are fighting for the worlds largest high grade lithium deposits.
In short term it’s going to be a pain for the shareholders but if AVZ can sort out these issues and still hold majority ownership of the mine then in few years time this will be the best lithium mining project in the world. I guess many lithium producers may need to shut down their mines when AVZ starts production.
