I don't think it's meant to be seen as "overwhelming" taken in isolation. More a piece of the bigger picture.
maybe consider joining the dots in your posted diagram between the current development and the new drill hole and ponder what might be if the entire area between was economic, that could look like the width of the giant pit over again. All parts of the plan to fill that good ol plant.
