Sure, it's your right,, but why not take a positive spell for a short time..?
And maybe ,, just maybe, give the new guy a break, until he's loaded his pen drawer, put a picture of his wife and family on his desk, and sifted through the latest results (assuming they've arrived).. ?
I'll have a word to him at the AGM, and ask him not to upset you by promising to do what he says he's going to do. ?
