No one knows what is left - that is what the drilling & geophysics will hopefully establish! One thing is certain though the value of the minerals have increased appreciably in the last 120+ years since mining ceased and detection methods are far better than eye (which was the only available on ground detector of the time)!
Also by refurbishing the UG workings holes can be drilled directly into mineralisation, cutting down time, money and wastage as well as providing a sheltered environment to conduct year-round drilling to define what remains!
Comprehension of the systems that drive the mineralisation have substantially improved in the last 120 years which increase the prospectivity of structural continuances or repetitions!
