The basis of our discovery are heavy metals content (our discovered minerals like Pd, Pt).
And the higher the heavy metals, the higher the gravity it applies against surrounding areas.
They are suggesting it (Hartog) could be the feeder zone, where they think, it is thicker and thus, should contain even heavier metals like Rhodium and Iridium.
