because most mortgage holders are still on sub 2% fixed rates…… that begins to stop from 1 July. That’s what I was saying. You’ll find your average joe spends what they have, so when rates roll from 1.8/2% to 5.5% or so that their wallet will have significantly less to spend on beer and entertainment. Be wary of consumer related stocks - my view. It begins q3.
