The most interesting feature was the Woolloongabba, Brisbane The Morrison Hotel redevelopment with a planned 140 Nighcap accommodation rooms and a large apartment complex.
Granted, obtaining planning permission for these initiatives is slow, but over time, these proposals could see at least a slight upwards rating for EDV given much more intensive use will occur of freehold properties.
The hotels division seems to be doing extremely well: the retail bottleshops are performing less well.
I'd like to see more research to establish whether it's true that Gen Z (say the typical 23 year old) is drinking less alcohol. That would indicate a structural decline in sales.
