It is as you say. I don't take much notice of SP TX where the number of sales is absolutely minimal compared with the number of shares on issue. There will always be somebody who has to sell to pay the tax bill or the traffic fine. But many of the trades we see strike me as regular attempts to shake a few holders loose from their shares by creating a bit of panic. Somebody sells a hand full of shares at a low price and "somebody else" always snaps them up. It's like throwing burley bait into the water to create a sense of a feeding frenzy. It is not unusual for this to be correlated - maybe even coordinated - with a heap of down ramping.
