Caredes, that is correct. My understanding of the key point of difference between existing speakers and AKP tech as follows:
1. Cheaper. No idea by how much but reading the EM website suggests sufficient to be a market changer all other performance features being equal to existing technology.
2. 80% lower power consumption. Major selling point in battery powered devices plus EV's where enegry conservation is a key driver of innovation at present.
3. Performance. The specs published on EM website look impressive but we need to see a comparison against existing technology. Also to listen to the device live in person. I have been reliably informed that clarity of output is unparalleled to existing technology and compares more than favourably with listening to an orchestra from the best seats in a concert theatre.
