Haven't posted for a while but was a bit annoyed by the comparisons to Theranos. There are significant points of difference not the least of which was that Elizabeth Holmes sanctioned the falsification of results to provide positive updates to investors that did not align with the issues that they were having in getting the technology to market. In short, the technology was not keeping pace with her promises so she lied about progress.
Now long termers will know that most of our announcements for years have been along the lines of "some positives this term but we found another issue". They joke about missing every milestone (MEMS). We haven't rushed to market with an underperforming technology and Fred doesn't really care about the small investors so he is unlikely to be trying to pull the wool over his own and the other top 20 investors' eyes.
AKP is the kind of stock where the information is begrudgingly given (not hyped) and you can take it or leave it. The AGM will be good and if we get an update this month I'll be very happy. BRN took off when Mercedes was linked to them. I have no idea what will be the catalyst for AKP's run (or dive). I'll change hold to buy because we are very close now.
