Regardless of whether we laypeople can fully understood the technical ramifications of this progress or not, is this a ‘first step’ or a 'significant ramp up'?
To extract Moh's words from the Ann, he states that 'this work marksa significant ramp up of development towards reaching Archer's goal…’. Therefore, I believe many in the quantum world may be shocked by how advanced Archer actually is at this point in time rather than us retail investors.
Also, I think the use of the word plural 'nanodevices' is very interesting. Because what they are doing is cutting edge, so they've combined both the ‘control’ device and a ‘readout' device’ as one linked thing which will then be used to integrate into modern mobile devices. More importantly, they have been able to fabricate and repeat, which one may presume could become possible additional patents later down the track.
So the question remains, if a significantramp up has occurred within the internal walls of Archer, how long before we get news of a ’qubit readout’?
