I used to own a stock called Kimberley Diamonds and from what I remember was based around the Ellendale diamond fields, Odessa seems to be in same area. They (Kimberley Diamonds) were delisted a few years ago after some bad business deals with Tiffany Ltd and other items and was placed in voluntary administration. They grew reasonably big for about 10 years
They did mine the illusive pink diamonds. So there are or was diamonds there somewhere.
Don't know if tenements are the same ones or not and don't know if anyway they are linked.
