In the December half report the book value of all VMC tenements was $2.35M.
IGO are good at what they do so I think their valuing the 70% jv share at $5M represents a good indication of fair value.
This would value VMC’s 30% at a bit over $2.1M plus the $1M reimbursement gives a fair value of $3.1M for just this one.
I like the strategy of farming out the initial funding risk whilst still retaining a good exposure to the upside, if just one VMC project makes it to production we will be laughing & I think we have a good chance of seeing more than one get off the ground.
