If someone gets inspired, and makes a tidy profit, they give themselves the credit. If they lose money, guess who they blame?.

I, just casually, told an old best friend (about to buy his "for-life" family home) of a share about to run up into a drill results. 2 week bet I said, beyond that you're punting on the dril result.

And in those 2 weeks, it went from 15c to 23.5c.

He wasnt in that rise. Because it took him 2 weeks to chat to a few other people, and get around to buying. Then he announced he'd thrown in his house deposit money, buying at 22.5c.

Scarcely 2 days later, less than overwhelming results triggered a dump. He lost most of his house deposit.

I felt really terrible, quite unwell, even though, in fact, he didn't actually follow my scenario.

He grovelled to his parents, and got the missing deposit money for the sake of the grandchildren, but it's obvious who was deemed the dodgy influence.......

and we've dropped out of contact since.
