It actually looks like a rather benign project as far as I can see. Much more benign than the apparent Nitrogen and Phosphorus poisoning of land and water from high volume dairy farming or industrial fish pharming such as in Tasmania.
It looks like minimal biological activity in the sea bed mining zone and is likely to fully recover in short order with the vast majority of material simply put back and no toxicity involved.
