the insto's and market makers have alot more money to play with than us retail
so when they run their algo's, you can't do much but follow the big guys
yes its manipulation, but this is the stock market
Let me give you an example. If I had $1M right now and bought on market, I could move the price up 30% (but is the company worth 30% more even though the stock price moved up 30%?)
Big money dictates where the price goes
Just follow your own investment thesis and hold through whatever happens in between
