    Clearly i'm not a lawyer, but its doubtful. they'd have to prove it was vexatious, which is pretty hard to do.

    They just need to take the black eye and move on. Hopefully the public prosecutor has been sufficiently embarrassed to drop this and focus on saving their career somewhere else.
