there is major pipeline activity in construction atm so medium term i cant see the labour issues you describe.
457 usually participate in large scale projects and shy away from short term contract work like ressi building based on the legal requirement of the employer to " sponsor " the candidate, they do however stabilise employment levels on the whole and thereby cripple wages growth.
the 80 and 90 where rough on the builders ( i was in the game back then ) those 17% odd interest rates didnt help either
and I know if you reflect, you will acknowledge this is the blooding ground if this kicks off then it can Scale globally with WB and if you look at FBR MC compared to them youll know that being right on 28c 16c 12c etc wont mean anything.
