I won't specifically name people but it's definitely implied in their responses.
I have a question for you Adent. How can someone make a judgement call on the profitability of the Joint Venture or WaaS with the information currently available?
Objectively, the information we currently possess includes:
1. The current laying speed of the Hadrian X in combination with the size of the blocks used compared to bricklayers (Karan Savara)
2. The implication that the CAD software will allow for more accurate estimations and by extension, reduce waste.
3. The implication that Fastbrick Australia will have access to all of Brickworks current customers - you said it yourself, people trust a brand. If Brickworks approaches X builder with a solution that will save them money and time, what do you think their response will be?
4. The knowledge that FBR is conforming to current building codes (despite what some continue to rattle on about)
5. The knowledge that 250 houses will cover the cost of a machine, with the HX being able to build between 100-300 homes per year (FAQ and Karan Savara)
What information at hand suggests that the JV will not be profitable for share holders? I'm honestly curious to hear it.
