Not entirely true either. There's a reason why this is called the speculative end of the share market.
There are a ridiculous amount of companies on the ASX in the exact same position because their product/service is yet to be proven and/or they aren't cash-flow positive due to a myriad of reasons. If you want to invest in companies that provide all the facts, filter for the top 200 and go from there...
