Agree , when I spoke with Mark he said the next build they will be using the larger blocks which will be rendered over and texture coated to a fine finish . This type of build is best suited in my view . Not saying the build they just have completed isn’t also commercials viable but probably less viable than the other , you still have to take into account the labour saving in doing one leaf , the time factor it took to build 3.5 days as opposed to the brickies next door 5 weeks ! Insurances , site hazards ect ect ! What we do need to work out is the cost of HX’s labour, what Pivac’s will be charging per block or per M2 , they say it’s commercially viable , I know all the cost savings in every scenario what I don’t know is how much the Pivacs would charge to do the build , This is the question that has been on my mind for quite some time . I’ll try to take a run out tomorrow see if anything has changed .
