I will also add that a lot of innovation these days are something that people didn’t really need. Take computer gaming for instance - it’s not something we need as humans. Gaming is fun, but could we do without it - for sure. Could we do without Twitter, Tiktok? Probably. But anyway someone builds these things and get rich off them and a new industry got created that employs millions of people so in the end arguably a net benefit.
Then you have the whole industry created to build tools to help developers build new software that is arguably something we don’t need. But I shouldn’t trash talk this because I work in this space.
Back to Fbr, at least it’s good to see a new technology get created that makes a difference in the real world rather than just the virtual world.
