Was it establishes that 20-25 k profit for FBR per house build ? labour cost to machine cost was comparable , so I would assume that cost saving to a builder would be for , items taken out of a convention build would be as follows.
    A) no supply of sand , cement , storage shed, scaffolding up to wall plate , time it takes to build , insurance cost , waste costs , initial site cleaning costs , down time due to weather factors , wall chasing for electrical and plumbing services, site injuries, theft , public holidays and any other items that effects human labour such as sick days and with bricklayers it’s more like ( hung over days) ! I would say the cost saving to the builder is quite considerable , I did a rough cost saving to a builder a few years back and from memory I think it was 20k to 30k per build not including waste saving . I’m pretty sure Mike mentioned a few years ago that him and Dr Hortons did a cost saving on waste alone and was somewhere in the vicinity of 500k per Ann correct me if I’m wrong . Don’t forget the F up a scheduler makes s in the office also , the builder would not have to worry about any of that from slab to wall plate height .
