Does anyone have any thoughts on whether the units to be supplied into the FBR/CRH JV are for regular HX110s or the HX110s without the saw?
The way I see it, a primary benefit of having a block supplier, such as CRH, as a JV partner is for them to provide the sequence pallets which will eliminate or close to it waste.
The whole/half and quarter size blocks would significantly speed up builds, close to eliminate waste and save on internal saw requirements and improve overall simplicity and efficiency.
It would likely also make for a more affordable HX unit.
This would change our cost and utilisation/builds per year assumptions which impact value.
Haven't heard much discussion around this aspect of the two designs.
Not investment advice. Do your own research, etc etc.
