    Saudi Arabia are doing it for social reasons and not economic.

    The unemployment rate for 20-29 year olds in Saudi Arabia is 28%. (Source forbes). Seems counter intuitive to enact such a policy to drive further unemployment.

    Also, there are other considerations at play. For example, being a Muslim country, it's possible it's trying to reduce the amount of blue collar works, so that more males can go into white collar jobs, thus reducing the amount of work opportunities for women. (Basically trying to keep the women at home).

    What I'm saying is that this is a unique situation. It doesn't prove the economic viability of the Fastbrick technology because that's not what the objective is in this partially case.

    Originally the plan was to develop it locally in Perth, build that out to Australia, while proving the economics, and then going global. I have a fear now that all of a sudden they're gonna pack everything up and move the HQ over to Saudi Arabia and set up base camp. Wait and see I guess.
