For the love of the CCP & the wuhan Virus, lets put this in perspective.
The Dow and S&P, just few days ago, had a single day crash that surpassed that of the 2008 GFC. Yes, its that big.
As a matter of fact for the Dow, it surpassed the 1929 Depression (by single day crash). Yes, its that big.
I can see alot of people here have not realise what this means in the financial markets.
So what do people expect? Do you really want to go out to the market now, in this situation and compete with the Coronavirus for the headlines?
Fk yeah I'll get flamed for this - believe it or not, I was expecting they would probably delay the Display build till the markets calm down.
Why? Do people in here even have an idea the hysteria out there now?
I have been sitting in front of bloomberg and reuters for years. I watch the GFC unfold right before my eyes. In terms of speed and ferocity GFC pales in comparision to this. Largely due to how it was suppressed then unleashed to the world.
All I wanted to hear from them is that they will not go belly up for the next 6 - 9 months. They have now stripped themselves down to bare bones or hibernating mode. Motive is obvious - so that they will not go bankrupt.
And for those who call them idiots for cutting staffs and killing their brains:

I dont want to say positive things about these because I probably made enough enemies by the time i write this sentence.
For those who think they are lying and covering up for the Hadrian, just like china with the wuhan Virus, well again believe them or not. Your word vs theirs. I do not take on any side, but many of us here expected late March isnt it?
Do people really think the Pivacs can time their cover up of the Hadrian / hibernation to coincide with the Coronavirus? If thats the level of stupidity its little wonder why so many people are still engaging Hokey.
Do I trust the Pivacs 100%? F No. They have not been transparent with us, by choice or circumstances.
But do not distort facts with despair. I concur with NGNG that if not for the Coronavirus, markets are normal, SP will be around the 5 cent range.
If it falls down to 0.01 or even lower, i will be scooping. Am I a blind believer or upramper? F No Im here for my investment. If you are resolute to go all the way, whats the logical thing to do now?
Central banks around the world are cutting rates, QE and directly injecting liquidity. By looks of it will equal if not surpass GFC.
Another thing, the Coronavirus vaccine will take 12-18 months by account of most experts, because of human trials.
Cure for symptoms is another matter and can be formulated much sooner. Big pharmas are all racing not just for the vaccine but also for the cure.
We dont have to wait for the vaccine, but once the cure is out, market sentiments can stabilise quickly.
What is needed now are panic to subside, market to stabilize and of course Central Bank QE. We have got 1 of the 3.
