Great post Stan - one thing that I might have mentioned before around FMT is sometimes it can work too well - my friend was given a 50/50 chance of living or dying due to complications from it, the issue was that it worked so quickly that his GI tract wasn't able to heal in the time so that as his stool rapidly solidified it actually caused a ruptured bowel from which he almost died.
