The only twisting happening here is the hyperbole of taking a single ambiguous phrase out of context.Either of those words could be construed as meaning one thing or the other. This has been recognised, acknowledged and now you need to move on.
Your rhetoric is far more malicious than the intention of the original post. "Twisting" is more like making $40 million disappear from $120 million by blatantly misrepresenting data.
