Just checked airfares:
Perth <--> KUL (Malaysia) RM1120
and, as expected,
Perth <--> SYD RM1290
I didn't spoof my IP to see what sort of prices would pop up for booking from WA, Oz.
Also Kuala Lumpur and Perth share the same time-zone.
Always attempt to outflank - don't bang head against wall.
