Based on company's announcement " New Antimicrobial Data and Conference Presentation" dated 08/09/2020, page 3 - "shows that treatment with synthetic cannabidiol resulted in disruption of the bacterial membrane (allowing the green dye to permeate the cytoplasmic membrane of Staph) resulting in cell death and prevention of bacterial growth and multiplication. Conversely, the negative control shows that without the presence of CBD, the bacterial membrane remained intact (preventing the dye from crossing the cytoplasmic membrane), allowing the Staph to grow and multiply
