Even though the trial duration is 5 days, measurements for S.aureus / MRSA are taken at day 12 and 28. Given 1/3 of the population have S.aureus they have to screen (swab) twice to make sure they have the culture and are not intermittent vs permanent carriers. Recruitment time also, about 200 people will be screened for 60 participants, maybe more.
Trial is estimated to take about 3 months + data processing, so the link has a soft estimation of early August completion.
