Ann: FDA grants Prizma Over-the-Counter Authorisation in USA, page-152

Hi holders, I have a couple of questions:
- the Samsung Galaxy S8, together with its health app seems to do much of what the Prizma device can do (heart rate, blood oxygen, stress levels etc.). What advantage does the Prizma device have besides obviously FDA approval? Or is the FDA approval considered the big advantage? Could the likes of Samsung be seen as future competition?

- I understand ths Prizma device already had FDA approval prior to this ann, but a prescription was required. Will the green light on OTC really make that much difference to sales? Above someone mentioned the device will now be purchased by aged car centres, hospitals etc - could they not have simply purchased the device previously with a prescription?
