Single arm study results because no parents (or decent Doctor) wanted to put their kids on a controlled trial with a 50/50 chance of standard of care that would likely see them dead before the trial ended? No, no. RCT's the gold standard again now. No exceptions, we've moved the goal posts again. Don't talk to us about kids dying with no options, we won't accept the years of professional independent research, unless its (like us) blinded in control.

You want to put millions of cars on the road that have no 3D perception (i.e. LIDAR), beyond that generated artificially by algorithms, in 2 tonne cars on the road and do trial and error operating system releases like mobniles phones, fixing glitches on the go as they arise, as caused by automated driving systems that are level 3 (of 5) at best?
