'They' don't known when/if he will stop.
Is GG close to SI? I have no idea and I assume you are the same?
Do 'they' know what GG's motives are?
1. Either 'they' are are aware of why they shouldn't short and are going long, or...
2. They aren't aware and are out because it's too risky. The added influence takes it out of the 'money for old rope' category that has been in place for decades.
The common denominator in all of this (as always) is SI. He knows. Doesn't he? There's another theory here that has SI out (pretty soon). Contemplate that SI doesn't know what GG's motives are for a moment - that is possible.
