Not that simple, with wide bid ask spreads. What if it is what you expected? Case in point: in December, wanted to sell some April $5 calls for 65 cents, which matched the bid. Accidentally sold January 2025 $5 calls for 65 cents - which also matched the bid! Lost a lot of money. Mistake was trading in a doctor's waiting room, hitting "send" when the intake nurse was trying to get my attention... Lesson is to focus on the immediate task when dealing with serious money...
