Hey Lopez,
It doesn’t matter what went first, they would still have had the same hurdles to prove out Efficacy, MOA and Potency.
Efficacy may have been a little easier to prove out due to placebo controlled - but the other two MOA and potency would have still been confounding issues to deal with as part of this FDA process.
We are near the goal line now though.
