The algorithm has been set with a defined number of shares to sell today. While there is pressure on the sell side, the bot will continue to sell these shares. You will probably find that once all of the shares at 2.01 are sold, the bot will also stop selling.
Bots make money by pip trading. They do not pay a fee each time they sell. They simply buy small amounts when the price goes up and sell shares when the price goes down.
