The SPP actually puts money in the companies coffers which helps your investment. It can be hard to buy $30k of shares on the open market without moving the price. The price of the SPP is currently below the market price and is without brokerage. The company has done the right thing by giving retail shareholders a chance to avoid dilution and where possible it would be great if it was supported. A lot of companies don’t care about the retail investors and this money was not critical to FDV so I was delighted they offered the opportunity and I am happy to support it. Buying shares in the SPP was easier than on market.
