Dear HC regulars
Can you please help me understand what relationship there may be between HC interest in a stock and share price action.
What I mean is that this thread was commenced only this morning at 09:20, yet by 16:50 has greeter than 8500 views - obviously LOTS OF INTEREST.
8500 views seems a lot to me in 7 hours.
I would expect that this sort of interest would be related to more share market action than we have had today (price up 6.9% on average daily volume). (The number of HC views on ADO today seem similar to a BIG ACTION DAY for a stock, e.g. the action in a day two weeks ago when MEO went up 150% on a significant announcement, or in a day a week ago when CVN went up 100%+ on an oil strike.)
So, why is their (comparatively) lots of HC views on ADO but minimal market action?
Is there any general relationship?
