Hi cw - it is a completely pointless opening sentence. In compliance with the ASX's CD rules all companies must announce material news. There is no need to state in the opening line that you are complying - the fact that the ann is released is compliance enough.
It is a bit like driving your car around with a sign stating, "I am driving 60 km/h in compliance with the speed limit".
