It could be a decent sized wave farm:
"The power plant provides electricity needs throughout the base and is run and maintained by Australian civilian personnel. The power plant is one of the largest presently operated by the US Navy. It is made up of six diesel engines with each possessing the capability to produce 3,000,000 watts of power."
Am i right to assume that would be a 18MW site? I also assume the wave resource up there would not be as good, so more units would be needed. It wouldnt be top of CWE's list of priorities so I would suggest the govt/navy would have to make the terms of any agreement very favourable to advance it as a site ahead of others. Could be very profitable.
