company director want to take this private by any means that is why shamelessly after a recent defeat they again going for another attempt to take it private but this time making it more difficult for new investors particularly those who don't invest privately managed companies (plenty of horror stories online) ..by allowing a year worth long duration...so basically trying everything that is in their hand to take this private.
director should resign and just run their private fund using their own money...!!
shareholder should vote against any existing director standing for AGM election next time.
the reason company trade at discount because it has massively limited trading volume and that is because it only has 59.8m outstanding shares...! So most long term holder don't sell as long as company giving dividend and hence if someone wants quick exit will sell at lower price.... giving discounts to nta.
now, instead of dealing with problem the director want it private even though they failed just this year in January that shows desperation to me and there must be reason why they are so interested in taking private instead of increasing outstanding shares...!
now, how will the increase outstanding shares ?
1. Increase discount for DRP... making more people adopting DRP.
2. Give bonus shares.
3. Don't do buyback.
4. Do capital raise now from market and increase your outstanding shares and increase portfolio companies outside AU market.
there are things they can do but they have only one goal i.e. to take private ...lol
this desperation by company keeping more investors like me away ...!
