Hey SS,..... yes... the expansion into other European countries is a very good sign no doubt. In addition you will not have missed this other very encouraging clip....

The tax incentive program is intended for funds expended within Australia. The eligibility of any overseas expenditure requires special pre-approval and is granted only in exceptional circumstances.”

This rather generous rebate is a real boon for a smallish company with very large ambition.... and... the scrutiny of the data by AusIndustry.... and the attending green light, should also give us some added confidence that the science is convincing.

Of course.... a number of us “old timers” who have been around this company from the start will be grateful... but not surprised that the R&D incentive has been stretched to fit in this case. It’s very likely that they only take into account the data that is put before them on which to make their decision. But I can’t help but wonder if they also have in mind the kudos that will reflect back on the country when yet another small Aussie company blossoms into a major Biotech of international importance.

It will be the science and the leadership of this company that will get the job done... and the staff and shareholders that will get the monetary reward. But the reputation of Australia will rightly be enhanced too.... both for the extra financial support they have given to this emerging great biotech.... and... the breadth and depth of the participating Australian universities and their specialist knowledge and facilities that GK and the team have marshalled together to get this far.

Cue the national anthem.... (grin)
